I have been passionate about birth my entire life. As I experienced my own three boy’s births, I realized how imperative it is to have solid physical and emotional support, trusting knowledge, an advocate, and friend, a sister….. a Doula!

I have the personal experience of having three different births. I had my first baby boy 15 years ago and was planning a home birth with midwives. He ended up being breach and we went through the experience of cesarian section. Everything went as planned but i was still longing for the home birth i had to give up. When i became pregnant a few years later, I was determined to have a vaginal delivery at home. We welcomed my second boy at home, in my bedroom with midwives. It was a magical experience and one I will always treasure. We moved from Canada to Los Angeles 9 years ago and 6 years ago I gave birth to my sweet baby boy #3. I needed to be induced and I had him at the hospital, totally unmedicated, but heavily supported by my amazing Doula who helped me navigate all the ins and outs of a hospital vbac birth. After the birth of my third boy, I was more determined then ever to help other mothers get the best experience they can have giving birth.

I know personally the power of knowledgable support and would be happy to be that support during your journey into parenthood.

My last few years as a Doula I have enjoyed helping families overnight during this precious newborn stage. Helping mom with whatever she needs, including breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding, sleeping, and newborn care and scheduling, prepare bottles and milk for the following day, baby laundry and diapers. I tend to baby as they need so parents can be well rested during the day and I also try to set baby up for sleeping success so they can transition more easily when its time to sleep train.

When I am helping a family overnight, they can be assured their baby is in good hands, as they get a good nights sleep.
